Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the Aravali ranges amidst beautiful hill station of Mt.Abu city. It is spread in 7 km of area and is popular destination for world eco-system. The sanctuary is the home to nearly 112 plant families with 150 different genres and 820 varied species. The landscape is full of greenery and dense forest at a height of 1219 meters. The biggest advantage of this place is its pleasant climatic conditions which makes it different from the rest of Rajasthan.

Mt.Abu Wildlife Sanctuary gives an insight to leopard sloth bear, wild boar, sambar, chinkara and langaur to name just a few. It addition to the wild life the forests here offers some great floral biodiversity with sub tropical thorn jungles to evergreen jungle besides water bodies. Mt. Abu is the only place of Rajasthan where you can find 15 species of feras and huge varieties of orchids, herbal plants of medicinal qualities and bamboo trees. The best time to visit this sanctuary is between February to June and September to December.
